This is an A3 mounted Giclee print of a pastel painting of a waterfall at the Hafod Estate in Pontrhydygroes Ceredigion in Wales. The Hafod Estate lies in the Ystwyth Valley near Devil’s Bridge and is recognised as one of the most important and influential Picturesque landscapes of the late eighteenth century in Europe. Today the estate occupies roughly 200 hectares, most of which is owned by the Forestry Commission which, in partnership with the Hafod Trust, is managing and restoring the landscape and re-creating walking trails for public access, of which there are currently around nine miles.
